An umbrella group supporting the expansion of community agriculture in the Rainier Valley. Our vision both includes and goes beyond P-Patches, backyard sharing, school and community center gardens, "guerrilla gardening", community kitchens, and housing development gardens are just some of the ideas we're working on. Fruit Tree Pruning - the Basics

Pruning our fruit trees improves health, appearance and productivity.
Attend a neighborhood workshop on pruning apple, pear and plum trees.

Facilitated by Don Ricks, John Reardon and other Seattle fruit tree activists.

Two Saturday workshops to choose from:
February 14th, 10am - noon, in the Genesee area,
February 21st, 10am - noon, at New Holly

Workshops sponsored by City Fruit, an organization that preserves fruit as a community resource. There is no charge.
